Our second digital release comes by the hand of Spanish duo Crime as Service whose specialty is textured obscure techno with a passion for abstract ambiences and solid grooves.
The sound voyage starts with Access, a beatless ambient exercise reminding us of the sound of a spaceship floating out there with no gravity. Drones, background noise, and subtle voices.
Assault to Scada follows, starting with a continuous sequence that floats over a solid kick, main sequence’s filter rises from below and soon new textures are added filling the stereo field. No sudden changes, no breakdowns, obsession and hypnosis as a mixing tool.
Spudger has a more shuffled rhythmic approach, with more percussive elements and flanged filtered synth lines. Again obsession and tension as leitmotiv.
Closing the release Dread Pirate Roberts flows over similar parameters, heavy sub bass action, a groove that grows progressively, phased and flanged components and a linear and mental arrangement.
Four cuts that work as a concept, rising from beatless to intense, excellent for those with proper mixing skills who can get the most out of these pristine sounding tools.

Nuestro segundo lanzamiento digital llega de la mano del dúo español Crime as Service, su especialidad es el techno oscuro texturizado con pasión por los ambientes abstractos y los ritmos sólidos.
El viaje sónico comienza con Access, un ejercicio ambiental arrítmico que recuerda el sonido de una nave espacial flotando en la galaxia sin gravedad. Drones, ruidos procesados y voces sutiles.
Le sigue Assault to Scada, comenzando con una secuencia continua que flota sobre un sólido bombo, el filtro de la secuencia principal se eleva progresivamente al paso de los minutos y pronto se agregan nuevas texturas que llenan el campo estéreo. Sin cambios repentinos, sin interrupciones, obsesión e hipnosis como herramienta de mezcla.
Spudger tiene un enfoque de ritmo más aleatorio, con más elementos de percusión y líneas de sintetizador filtradas y procesadas. Nuevamente obsesión y tensión como leitmotiv.
Cerrando el lanzamiento, Dread Pirate Roberts fluye a través de parámetros similares, frecuencias subgraves, un ritmo que crece progresivamente, componentes procesados y efectados con un arreglo lineal y mental al tiempo.
Cuatro cortes que funcionan como un concepto, pasando de estático a intenso, excelente para aquellos con las habilidades de mezcla adecuadas para aprovechar al máximo estas herramientas de sonido impecable.
